UPROOTED WOODWORKS • BREVARD, NC
Woodwork with roots.
Uprooted Woodworks creates custom furniture, built-ins and one-of-a-kind projects for homes throughout Western North Carolina.
From locally milled hardwood to the finished piece, we believe good work should be thoughtfully designed, carefully built and made to belong.
WHAT WE DO

From custom furniture to built-ins and carefully executed home improvements, Uprooted combines woodworking craftsmanship with practical solutions for your home.
Custom Woodworking
Custom furniture, tables, benches, mantels, shelving and one-of-a-kind pieces built specifically for your home.
Finish Carpentry

Home Projects

FROM TREE TO HOME
Some pieces deserve a story.
With our own sawmill, Uprooted can transform locally sourced logs—and sometimes a tree from your own property—into furniture, mantels, shelving and other pieces made specifically for your home.
Instead of seeing a beautiful tree hauled away, we can give it another life inside your home.
WHAT WE BUILD
Made for the way you live.
From locally milled furniture to built-ins and practical improvements, every project starts with a simple goal: make something that looks right, works well and belongs in your home.
Custom Furniture

Home Improvements
Carefully executed repairs and improvements where craftsmanship matters.
ABOUT UPROOTED
Built here.
Built to belong here.
Uprooted Woodworks is a small woodworking and home-improvement shop based in Brevard, North Carolina, built around a simple idea: good work should be thoughtfully designed, carefully made and built to last.
From custom furniture and built-ins to finish carpentry and select home projects, we bring the same attention to detail to every job.
And because we mill lumber ourselves, some projects can begin even closer to home—with locally sourced hardwood or a tree that already has a story of its own.
For me, Uprooted is about making useful, beautiful things and doing work I’m proud to put my name on.
